Well, I guess that's one birthday party that could've gone worse, considering I haven't been to one for my brother in however long it's been. At least I didn't have to work for a while, right?

It's actually been a pretty boring week. Guess business has just been kinda slow or whatever. But the weather hasn't been too bad, at least.

Well, fall's in full swing now. Guess that's good - I mean, sweating your ass off is not fun by any definition of the word. I think it should be winter year-round, seriously. Snow's not so bad.

Anyway, life's been pretty much the same. Work, eat, sleep, do it all over again. I wonder f'I could take some classes online or something. I mean, it'd be better'n nothing, right?

Geez, been really busy the past few weeks. Can't even really tell you what I've been doing, 'cause all the days blur together an' it's not like it's anything out of the ordinary. Still, I hate feeling like life is just one day of catch-up after the other, y'know?

Maybe we should post up a sign at the bottom of the stairs: BEWARE, RUG TRAFFIC DOWN THE STAIRS DOES NOT STOP.

You know what I miss? Real coffee. I mean, like the kind you get at a coffee shop like the one I useta work in. Never thought I'd miss it, but makin' stuff in a pot just isn't the same. Wonder if I can talk anyone in charge around here into getting a real machine t'do this stuff. I already know how t'use it.

Well, I guess if I gotta wear a yukata, getting a new one's not so bad. I'm still not used to just being... I dunno. Given stuff. I know it's for the job, but still. It's weird.
